Farrell Healion is Founder and Managing Director of OptiTrial, supporting sponsors and CROs in the strategy and implementation of patient-facing technologies, Digital Health Technologies, and DCTs. He focuses on translating digital ambition into practical, patient- and site-centric delivery that improves trial outcomes.
With over 14 years of experience across sponsor and supplier organisations, including leadership roles at AstraZeneca and Signant Health, Farrell has led digital transformation and global delivery across eCOA, eConsent, remote patient monitoring, digital endpoints, and next-generation trial solutions. He is a former Co-Chair of the C-Path PRO Consortium and a PharmaTimes DCT Clinical Researcher of the Year.
